John Rodger, Tenor

John Rodger is 'a real Italianate tenor with a strong bright voice, technically secure, and already exciting to hear,' 'intelligent and musical, tall and commanding,' and 'a force among today's young artists.'  During the past year he has been on the roster of New York City Opera for Esther, Revolution of Forms, and Séance on a Wet Afternoon, Glimmerglass Opera for two seasons for Das Liebesverbot and La Traviata, and Sarasota Opera for productions of Don Carlos and Tosca.
